Through a traditional examination of philosophical and ethical frameworks leaders can practically apply these concepts to teaching, learning, K-12 leadership, and higher educational leadership. Through an exploration of personal moral and ethical reasoning leaders and teachers will discuss ethical dilemmas related to leading change in the many organizations educational leaders find themselves.
Audience: Any Educator, Leaders K-12+, Higher Ed Leaders
Students will be introduced to a number of theories of moral behavior. Using case studies of ethical dilemmas in leadership, students will learn to evaluate the relevance and effects of various moral philosophies to ethical decision-making in the roles of classroom leadership and overall leadership within the facet of many different organizations.
