Objectives of Project
Each student or group of students demonstrates appropriate skills that reflect the learning’s from the course experiences.
Each student submits a project that meets the criteria described for a graduate-level project.
Examples of Ideas for Projects
Curriculum developed from some phase of the course. The curriculum would follow a curriculum model so that it would be defensible.
Prepare a series of enrichment activities that could be used in the public schools. The activities could be in the form of learning centers, trivia questions, research topics, foxfire approaches, creative plays, etc.
Develop on education kit for a particular habitat, fish, or wildlife species which includes facts sheets, student work sheets, etc.
Guidelines for Graduate-Level Projects
Complete the project and submit it to Alison Thomas within four weeks after the course is completed (by August 17th, 2020). No projects accepted after August 17th unless there is an emergency situation beyond control of student.
Projects should be typed, written without errors in spelling, grammar, syntax and with neatness.
Each project must demonstrate that careful thought and depth in the area being addressed is evident. Perhaps picking a narrow topic will demonstrate this and allow you to finish on time.
Each project should correlate their lesson plans with Vermont's Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities.
