In an age where perception is reality, educators need to begin getting ahead of forming their own image and influencing the perception of their stakeholders. In this course, participants from K-12 both educators and school leaders will learn about the power of video as a communication tool with the school communities. This course will breakdown the essence of why use video, how to use video and provide you with a toolset to leaving this course being able to begin using video to enhance your practice as educators. You will look into the basics of video blogging and how you can begin to create an environment of innovation with your students. This is an excitingly engaging course that will revolutionize how you view school/classroom communication and ultimately lead you to becoming not only a better educator but an innovative communicator.
Audience: All educators prek-12.
Participants will learn how to put into practice video vlogging, video communication and a toolbox of innovative video-driven strategies to include into their daily practice as educators. This course will involve heavily the use of recording and editing video while teaching educators how to effectively use video to spark not only innovation in themselves and their students but communicate a perception of innovation to the community.
Required readings are not included in the course tuition.
