The Activism, Advocacy, and Social Change minor is a way for you to concentrate on current activism, advocacy, and social change.
Through different forms of studies such as public sociology, working in a community, and activism, you will be able to take on new activism campaigns as they emerge.
With concentrations of American communities, you will be exposed to the approaches used in activism, advocacy, and social change. You will also be challenged to express your opinions in and outside of the classroom.
You will have the opportunity to take classes that concentrate on community studies, civic engagement, equality, activism and advocacy for social change, and public sociology. These courses will open doors for students to explore the many moving parts to activism, advocacy, and social change as a minor.
