Do you have a positive attitude? Would you like to help others learn and grow? If you’re a college student in good academic standing with residential living or leadership experience, we’re looking for you.
We’re recruiting Summer Residential Mentors for the Upward Bound program at Castleton University. As a mentor, you’ll live on campus for six weeks this summer, including one week of staff training. You’ll supervise and support Upward Bound participants, high school students, in 9-12th grade, during the on-campus summer session. You’ll help students with homework, plan activities, and give participants the encouragement they need to achieve their goals.
In exchange for your enthusiasm, you’ll get a private room, a meal plan for six weeks (excluding weekends), free admission to all events and field trips, and a stipend up to $2,500. You’ll also acquire an impressive credit for your résumé and develop skills you can apply to any career.
