Castleton is pleased to announce the addition of three new graduate programs to its ever-growing list of academic offerings. Music Education, Theater, and Education with a Specialization in Mathematics will join the graduate course offerings.
Master of Arts in Education with a Specialization in Mathematics is set to debut this spring, and is currently accepting applications. The program is a 36-credit one-year program designed to bridge the gap between mathematics and mathematics education theory.
Master of Arts in Theater will begin with a Summer 2014 session, and is currently accepting applications. This one-year, residential program is unlike any other in Northern New England, offering students the opportunity to prepare for professional theater work through course work and theater productions.
Master of Music Education is slated for the Summer 2014 session and is currently accepting applications. The only program of its kind in Vermont, Castleton’s MM.Ed emphasizes real-world application with courses taught by experienced music educators over the course of a 30-credit curriculum.
In addition to these three exciting programs, Castleton also offers a Master of Arts in Education: Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Arts in Education: Special Education (non-licensure), and a Master of Science in Accounting.
