Castleton Giving Tuesday Shatters Records
This GivingTuesday, Castleton University saw more than 245 alumni, parents, faculty and staff, students, and friends of Castleton show their Spartan pride by donating over $30,000 to support student scholarships. This year marks the most impressive giving day in Castleton history, breaking a number of records including:
- The largest total donation amount in a single day
- The largest total number of donors in a single day
- The largest number of completed matching gifts
- The largest number of new Castleton donors
- The greatest faculty/staff giving participation percentage
GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that inspires people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
With a focus on “Giving Green,” Castleton used its signature green as a way to bring everyone together. Gifts made on GivingTuesday ensure that Spartans – present and future – have the resources they need to become the next generation of leaders in our communities.
