Founded in 1989, the Spanish Brass rose to the top of its genre in 1996 when it won the Narbonne International Brass Quintet Competition, the most prestigious event of its kind in the world.
In the past two decades, Spanish Brass (also known as “Spanish Brass Luur Metalls”) has established itself as one of the world’s finest brass quintets. Always maintaining the highest artistic standards, the ensemble is known for its virtuosity as well as the wide variety of its programs. The ensemble has played in venues all over the world, presenting passionate and evocative music from their native Spain, as well as American spirituals from Bach, Jobim, and Ellington providing an unforgettable experience for all.
