Castleton’s Christine Price Gallery presents Jessica Cuni’s “Bioluminescence” from Monday, October 14 through Tuesday November 26.
The opening reception will be held Friday, October 18, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. and an Artist Talk will be held Thursday October 24 at 12:30 p.m. in the Christine Price Gallery, located in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center.
As an undergraduate of Swarthmore College, Cuni majored in Biology but abandoned her medical school track after her experiences in a studio arts-based program in Florence, Italy. Ultimately, she attended Brooklyn College to pursue her professional art aspirations and earned an MFA in Painting and Drawing. Currently, an art professor at Green Mountain College, Cuni specializes in painting, drawing, and installation work and focuses on the dynamic interplay between biological form, observed natural systems, and an increasingly personal, perpetual reality.
These events are free of charge to the general public and the gallery will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. From more information regarding “Bioluminescence” please contact the Fine Arts Center Box Office at (802) 468-1119 or see castleton.edu/christineprice
