Gary Moore Selected as Commencement Speaker
Castleton is pleased to welcome outgoing Chairman of the Vermont State College Board of Trustees Gary Moore to give the address at the college’s 2014 commencement ceremony on May 17 at 11 a.m. in the Castleton Pavilion.
A Bradford, Vt. resident, Moore has been a member of the VSC Board of Trustees since 1991 and was elected Chairman of the Board in June 2006.
Throughout his nearly three decades on the board, he has been a steady and committed advocate for Castleton students. His commitment to enhancing and maintaining the quality of the student experience, as well as his attendance at college events and almost every commencement ceremony during his time are legendary.
This year’s ceremony will mark the 79th graduation he has attended in the VSC during his tenure.
