The Paramount Theatre and Castleton University are pleased to invite interested members of the community and members of the media to take part in a multimedia presentation of an unprecedented collaboration celebrating the 240th year of our republic. “Project 240”, the culmination of nine months of planning between The Paramount and Castleton will be unveiled at a press conference/public gathering at The Paramount on August 19 at 5:30 p.m.
The series of 17 events will span 14 months and exist at the intersection of civic engagement, education, and entertainment. All except three of the events will be free, and those who attend can expect a range of programming featuring nationally prominent participants, public discourse, patriotic music, satirical theatre, and more.
