Spartan Athletic Bands Perform at New England Championships

The Spartan Athletic Bands brought a one-of-a-kind experience to the New England Scholastic Band Association Marching Band Championships.

The event, held on Nov. 4 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, brings more than 40 of the best high school and college marching band ensembles together under one roof. This year marks the first time that a Vermont ensemble has been invited to perform and the Spartan Athletic Bands — consisting of the Marching Band, Spirit Band, Color Guard, and the Drumline — were the sole representatives of the state. They performed “The Greatest Show,” which tells the story of Athletic Band students’ pursuit of their own personal best performance.

The Spartan Athletic Bands can be found at home men’s and women’s hockey games this season, cheering on their peers to victory.
