Castleton is pleased to announce that two students will be receiving the necessary funds to conduct important summer research projects through a generous donation.
Hillary Hogle, along with Psychology Professor Kathryn Sperry, will devote the summer months to testing the utility of jury instructions and expert testimony, as they investigate if legal safeguards reduce jurors’ tendencies to blame victims of rape.
Hillary Gray, along with Natural Sciences Professor Tim Grover, will direct their research towards examining the geology of the southern half of the Silver Bay quadrangle located in the eastern Adirondack Mountains of New York.
The two projects were generously funded through an anonymous donation of $5,000 in conjunction with the Castleton Office of Grants and Special Projects.
